Q: I see all kinds of ring boots used. Over time I have seen wrestlers' wearing motocross boots, cowboy boots, basketball shoes and more. Are there any regulations on what can and cannot be worn for boots? When you get hit by a non traditional boot does it affect you more?
Q: What goes on backstage before a Wrestling event? What do you typically do?
A: I am not aware of any specific rule or regulation but I'm sure it has to be within reason. I don't think golf shoes or cleats would be acceptable. I haven't really noticed too much of a difference based on shoe type, I'm more concerned with the impact on my body to notice or think about something like that in the heat of battle. It all hurts.
Q: What goes on backstage before a Wrestling event? What do you typically do?
A: That depends. A lot of time I am getting dressed, stretching, and preparing physically and mentally before my matches. Other guys chat or eat. I like to be completely relaxed before I wrestle so I try to not have much on my mind like conversation or a full stomach. I do like to spend a fair amount of time stretching to prevent strains or potential injury.
Q: Have you ever competed in a cage match? What are your feelings on them?
A: No, I have not yet been in a steel cage match. I feel that when necessary they are a great match to be done. I feel that the fans (myself included) enjoy seeing a feud settled in the confines of a steel cage: where there is nowhere to run, no rules to be broken; just simply a contest of who truly is the tougher wrestler and who wants to defeat their opponent more.
