Q: Would you ever go to the UK to wrestle again?
A: Of course! I highly value my time spent in The United Kingdom. Almost everyone I encountered was very helpful and friendly and I certainly learned a lot while having been there. to be honest, my favorite training that I have ever done was in England. It is such a different and unique style it was almost like I was having to learn from scratch which was a great feeling being someone who was seeking out this kind of knowledge. I'm sure I may have to do a bit of work to build my popularity up to having another long term tour set up; but knowing that style perhaps I can cater more to a crowd that appreciates that kind of wrestling.
Q: As a Pro Wrestler, how often do you still go to Pro Wrestling training? Do most pro wrestlers do the same and are you always learning?
A: I am constantly at wrestling training. I find myself in the ring for training purposes, both learning and teaching, at least two times during the week. I think it is crucial for wrestlers to keep themselves in ring shape by training frequently. Especially those wrestlers who don't find themselves wrestling a consistent schedule. In a field of competition like this, when you aren't training or competing; someone else is. I always like to stay on the top of my game. It depends on what you consider a Pro Wrestler. In my mind, ALL legitimate professionals train regularly.
Q: Where did the name Ryan Kidd come from? Would you ever consider legally changing your name to Ryan Kidd?
A: Cool question! My real middle name is Ryan, so that is where I came up with that. As for Kidd; that name was given to me by my initial trainer at the time. I had come with a couple of options and Kidd was the one that seemed to fit best and has stuck since. As far as legally changing my name; I don't think I will ever have a reason to need to do that. I am fine with the name I was given at birth and I am also very content with the name I use as a Professional.
