Q: What inspired your new look? Is it a permanent change?
A: Like all of my gear; this was another original thought from the mind of Ryan Kidd. Having used accents like the wings or lightning bolts in the past - I wanted to play more with that concept on this upcoming gear set. Of course, nothing is ever permanent. The differences in this look compared to the norm is exclusive to this gear set.
Q: Do you prefer Wrestling in big arenas or smaller venues like bars and gymnasiums?
A: Interesting thought. I personally feel like both have their advantages and disadvantages, of course. Being comfortable in front of an audience of any size take courage, but I find myself driven to perform for large crowds and therefore, prefer the idea of wrestling in a larger area. The larger space to perform, the ambiance set forth from the roar of a crowd, and even the idea of having a larger audience to sample your work are all glaring positives when I consider how lucky I am to perform in front of thousands when given the opportunity. On the other hand; the intimate, grungy atmosphere of a small and passionate crowd captivate the very essence of what drew me to Professional Wrestling in the first place.
Q: What are your final thoughts heading into your big AAA TV debut this weekend? How long have you worked for this moment?
A: Great question. It's been quite literally ten years, almost to the day, that I first set foot in Tijuana to compete at the tender age of 16. Oddly enough, in the same venue I find myself in this Saturday: the Auditorio de Tijuana. This time, however, will be my first time competing for AAA Lucha Libre - Mexico's Premier Wrestling company in the nation - featured on their Television program broadcasted around the World. It's a big opportunity for me, no doubt. I have to keep my head on straight and grab the opportunity by the horns. There's no more time to get ready; only time to show what I can do. I'm excited to display my Pro Wrestling Passion on one of the worlds largest stages!
