Q: At what point did you start to find an interest in other duties outside of the ring such as commentary, graphic design, and live event production?
A: That is an excellent question. I have always had a propensity to take interest in every aspect of my workplace. The how's, who's, and why's are not often lost on me as I'm always looking for ways to improve a project that I'm involved in. Taking notes from the Greats of the sport, in any position, and applying them to your work is something we can all stand to gain from. When given the opportunity to try something different in the field I do my best to embrace it. Some tasks I excel in more than others; but stepping up to the plate is the first step towards improvement in my opinion.
Q: When is the next time we'll see you in a long term Tag Team? Do you consider yourself a Tag Team Specialist?
A: That's something I haven't quite considered. I do indeed have a successful tag team history dating back to the start off my career. I'm not sure if I would classify myself as a Tag Team wrestler but I do highly respect the rules and philosophy of the style. There are a lot of positives to having a partner in your corner to tag out to when needed. However, that doesn't diminish the effort required to succeed as a unit. Being in a Team also presents its own set of challenges to overcome. Perhaps you'll see me down the line alongside a new friend. Or maybe, just maybe, alongside a familiar face!
Q: What has been your favorite match or (in ring) moment this year?
A: Great question! It's been getting harder and harder to choose a favorite memorable moment as the year continues to take shape. My debut for AAA TV in a sold out arena definitely is somewhere on that list. Additionally, being a part of Wrestlemania weekend on Pay per View was a bucket list item for me in my career. I have been blessed with a very productive year in spite of the issues presented - that we are still facing, to some extent, as a result of the covid-19 pandemic. I have a few things lined up for the summer that could potentially make the list as well. One of which being a goofy childhood dream or two coming true. I guess for now I'll count my blessings and find out what the future holds in due time!
