I only have 20 more days here in Japan and about 25 days until I am settled in on my tour to The United Kingdom and Europe! As many of you know, I have relocated and am now training with Dragon Gate here in Japan. It has been a wonderful experience thus far and I am greatly enjoying the challenges presented in training and living here in Kobe. Above and below are just a couple of photos of the atmosphere and culture here in Japan!
I wish that these pictures could do even a portion of justice to how wonderful it truly is over here! Check back next week for even more photos from Japan!

Q: What has been your favorite food while in Japan?
A: Good question! I have eaten a lot of interesting foods while on my tour here in Japan and I am a big fan of almost everything that I have eaten thus far. There are, however, a couple of items that stand out. Shabu-Shabu is a type of cuisine where you boil raw meat (beef, pork, chicken) and then dip it in different sauces before eating it. It's very good. I also enjoy Dem Kebab which is actually a Turkish meal they serve here which is grilled meat with cabbage served on a thin pita-like bread or tortilla. Those are just a couple of meals that come to mind as favorites. As for snacks and things of that nature, they have an awesome ice cream sandwich here where the outside shell is a wafer type bread in the shape of a waffle and inside is vanilla ice cream with a thin piece of chocolate. Also, the fruit juices here are much different. I presume it is more natural juice and less sugar filled which gives it a slightly more bitter taste but it certainly is not bad. I greatly enjoy the apple juice. I have a carton nearly every day. Lastly, though I haven't had much; they sell Lemon Coke (only at 711) here in Japan and it is amazing!
Q: Do you enjoy any other sports besides Professional Wrestling?
A: Certainly! I enjoy watching American Football although I didn't get to see much of this last season and was in Japan during the time of the Super Bowl! I also enjoy watching Football (soccer). When I get the chance to play with friends I love playing basketball and American football.
Q: What is your daily routine like over in Japan?
A: Awesome question! I'd say the days break up into two different categories, days with shows and days without shows. On days with shows we wake up early, get ready, and load up into a tour bus and drive to the show. Once we arrive we begin setting up and preparing for the event, have the event, tear down the production, load the tour bus back up to head home and weight train before getting some sleep. On days without shows: we wake up early, eat breakfast, and train at 10am until about 1pm. After training we eat again and I usually bathe. Following that, I get ready and freshened up, weight train, and do some online work if I get the chance such as working on the blog or planning for my upcoming tour of the United Kingdom and Europe. In the evening we eat dinner and hang out before I weight train again and head to bed.
