Q: What age did you start training for Professional Wrestling?
A: Good question. I have answered this previously but for those that don't know; I began my training in 2010 at 13 years old.
Q: What is the best advice as an experienced wrestler that you can give to aspiring young wrestlers?
A: That is a really tough question. I have been blessed to have been able to train under some of the smartest veterans in the sport. So to narrow it down to just one tidbit would be extremely difficult. Among many outstanding phrases; "Ears open, Mouth shut." has always stood out to me. Other good suggestions relate to safety but I think that attitude and coach-ability are key.
Q: What made you start wearing the mask?
A: I have been wearing the mask since November 2016. Since donning it I have wrestled almost as many matches with it on that I have with it off. A lot of times I end up taking the mask off during the match as well. I think the unpredictability of my appearance is now becoming a part of the intrigue to who I am as a person. The reason I began wearing the mask is mainly an homage to my Lucha Libre roots which I think really helped define me into the performer that I am today. Moreover I think Ryan Kidd fans love getting their hands on replica masks which I draw a tremendous amount of support from.It's always amazing seeing someone in the crowd with your mask on.
