Hello everybody and welcome to newsletter #9! Thanks to all my fans who care about and support the blog every week and share with their friends! I have a big wrestling weekend coming up so a big thanks in advance to all fans looking to come out and enjoy each of the events! Q: What are you doing and thinking before you enter the ring?
A: It's always different based on the event and the match I'm having. Generally, I am stretching and mentally prepping myself. I don't have any pre-match 'rituals' persay but I do have sort of a routine I like to follow before getting out there. In the end, staying relaxed and focused is my main goal
Q: If you do wrestle someone wearing a mask do you respect that and not try to remove it?
A: Depends. I've said it before, wrestling is all about the victory. Nobody goes out to the ring hoping to lose. A lot of wrestlers even have friends and family in attendance and don't want to let them down. I'm not above that. I have gone for an opponents mask multiple times and would do it again in a heartbeat. Wrestlers' know the risk of wearing a mask and the disadvantages it comes with; it'd be foolish for me to not take advantage of a beneficial opportunity presenting itself like that.
Q: Are there wrestlers out there that you really do not like and dont like you and if so is there ever and issue in the ring where something might get more real or serious than its supposed to?
A: Yes. Just like in any tense situation. Whenever you have a lot of guys with egos and a lot on the line in a concentrated area things can get pretty dicey. It's all up to personal maturity. Two adults can dislike each other all they want and that's no problem but to take those issues into the ring and make them public knowledge usually displays a lack of respect, even if the victim deserved it. It does happen though, probably more often than you would think. All apart of the whacky world of Wrestling though.
