Q: Question about the ring. How hard or soft is it? What is under the canvas we all see? Is it padded, and if so how much; or is it just plywood?
A: That is different for almost every show I wrestle on because no two rings are ever the exact same. The size of the ring, texture of the ropes, and frame set up all have an impact on how hard or soft the ring is aside from the amount of pad used. Yes, all rings have a thin layer between the plywood boards and canvas. At times I've been afforded the luxury of that layer being a padded material. Not so much to say it doesn't hurt because that simply isn't true, but compared to the times where there is a layer of thin carpet or at times simply wood it would be considered 'cushioned' when you put it into perspective.
Q: I watched a match on YouTube between You and Terex. There was a huge size difference. In the end he ended up splashing you several times and other wrestlers had to stop him. You were left laying and had to be helped out. Question is this, I know injuries are a part of wrestling but do you ever fear for your safety facing someone that big and when they do something that extreme?
A: Here is something I'm not sure a lot of people truly understand so I'll say it like this: Every single time a wrestler goes out to perform they are putting their well-being and lives in the hands of their opponents. Injuries a commonplace in Professional Wrestling and it's sad that it takes injury or even the loss of life while competing for people to truly understand the danger associated with each time a wrestler steps in between those ropes. So do I ever fear for my safety? Yes all the time, even when I train or when I stretch because I am well aware of the risk I take when I get into the ring. It's a risk however we all as performers are willing to take for the enjoyment of those who support it.
Q: If you could pick anyplace on Earth were would you go for a vacation?
A: That's a tough question. I have been blessed in the past 19 years to have seen a lot of this world but there is also plenty of uncharted territory I would like to see. I'd love to visit South America or Russia for a vacation.
